Meet Yoda
Yoda is an approx. 7 year old fawn female pug who was surrendered to NIPRA last November because she is suffering from a neurological condition that causes her to be incontinent and walk with a wobbly gait in her back end. Yoda doesn't let that slow her down too much, though! She is still a lovable pug who is very happy, active, and full of life.

Yoda recently went to see a veterinary neurologist for an evaluation, but she will need an MRI to correctly diagnose what is causing her problems. The cost of the MRI will be approx. $2,000.00 and this amount does not include back surgery, if needed. We are hoping that with the support of our pug loving friends, we will be able to raise enough money to get Yoda the help that she needs. If you would like to contribute to Yoda's medical fund, please click on the button below or see our mailing address at the bottom of this page.
Thank you!

 About Us
NIPRA is a 501c3 non-profit organization that exists to assist the community in placing needy pugs in permanent, loving homes. All adoption fees and donations go solely for the rescue, care, and placement of mistreated, unwanted or homeless Pugs.

NIPRA's mission is...
To rescue, care for, and find suitable homes for unwanted, stray, or abandoned pugs. To reduce pet overpopulation by increasing public awareness of the need to spay and neuter pets. To provide educational programs promoting the humane treatment of animals. We accomplish this through the dedication and energy of our board of directors and faithful volunteers.

NIPRA accepts stray and abandoned Pugs, regardless of age or health, which we care for until we find responsible new homes. Our ability to accept animals is limited to the space that we have available. We euthanize only in cases of irremediable health problems or other grave circumstances.

How You Can Help

There are many ways that you can help NIPRA.  We are always in need of foster homes, volunteers, and donations. We exist entirely on donations and  proceeds from our fundraising projects.  That, along with our volunteers and foster homes, allows us to continue our mission of helping pugs in need.
